New Report: Children's Budget 2011

The Children’s Budget, 2011 examines state and federal funding for children’s programs from FY2006 through FY2011. Among the principal findings of the report is that inflation adjusted per child state spending for children’s programs, excluding education, declined over the six year period. Also, federal funding for children’s programs, excluding education, accounted for nearly 70% of total expenditures for children.
