2010 Children's Champions Awards Luncheon September 16

VOICES-25YR-logo_ResizedThis year’s event also celebrates our 25th anniversary. The Junior League of Salt Lake City will be honored as the 2010 Children’s Champion for their important role in our history by providing the start-up funds for Utah Children. This was quite remarkable, both in the amount of funding provided and the recognition of the importance of advocacy as a strategy to improve the lives of children.

The theme for the event is “Putting Children First.” Delivering the keynote will be the gubernatorial candidates – Governor Gary Herbert and Mayor Peter Corroon.

For more information or to download the invitation click here. Seating is limited – RSVP by September 10.

We made it! Twenty-five years ago, we had a dream of people creating an organization that would speak out on behalf of our most vulnerable citizens – children. At the 25-year mark, we can look back and count many successes that have made a difference in the lives of children and families in Utah.

A series of events are planned over the coming months for key donors and funders, former board members, staff and past honorees that will culminate in our 25th Anniversary Celebration on September 16, 2010.  For more information, call 801-364-1182
